Impromptu Plans to Eureka Springs
Let it sPRING !!
Eureka Springs, A small city with a population of 2074 has been neglected over the years, not just because its located in mid-west which is beyond the reach of urban lights but also because the human kind has become so indulgent over the past decade that we love to be in city lights rather then being around old towns.
Thanksgiving as they say, has been one tradition in the States where we thank people who have made our lives simpler and happier, me as a wanderer decided to be grateful to places that have made us happy and continue on doing so.
I live in Kansas, so driving to Eureka-Springs wasn’t a pain for me and for me, I absolutely love driving. Wavy Roads, Fall Colors, Hot Cocoa and my Mastani, (Oops, I never mentioned, That’s what I call my car).
Eureka Springs is 221 miles from Kansas, roughly 4 hours drive. Since the town is a little laid back and my plan was impromptu, I didn’t pack much and decided to travel lite.
For my stay in Eureka Springs, I decided to stay in Express Inn since it was at a drivable distance from most of the Touristy Places, I had on my list. I started off from Kansas around 9 in the morning and reached Eureka Springs around 1 pm. The drive was scenic, as I expected it to be.
